Designing places to live and work...

All too often when we look to update our homes/work spaces we throw away and start again. Often all that is really needed is a fresh imaginative pair of eyes to realise the potential in what we already have. This could be a simple paint job, an up-cycling project, new soft furnishings and upholstery or curating your belongings to make the best of them. Commited where possible to reuse exisiting furniture/lighting or source unusual new pieces (often second-hand) I specialise in making them sing again and truly unique to you.

Attention to detail is all important and its this that makes each interior unique and finished to a high quality.  I am assisted by a tried and tested team of quality trades people and can offer the following services, consultation, design/story board, project management, search and supply of paints, fabrics and wall woverings, upcycle furniture, bespoke lighting and soft furnishings, upholstery and floor coverings.

Clarabella Christie the home of up-cycled accessories and interiors.

Established in 2007 and inspired by a collection of vintage fabrics, Clarabella has grown from a few special finds and a love of making interiors sing again into a business which offers a truly bespoke design service.  From a pair of matching lampshades for a private client to a complete interior design overhaul for a large commercial project Clarabella celebrates all that is handmade, up-cycled and saved from landfill.  Clarabella workshops share a wealth of knowledge from fun sewing projects to up-cycling your furniture to feather your nest.

We love to inspire your inner green so get in touch to discuss any project, big or small.
